A Portrait of Time: Brava’s Editorial Shoot in Chile

This was the essence of our editorial shoot for Brava, set on my family’s farm in Chile, where generations gathered not just to be photographed, but to be remembered.

The day began in the quiet hush of morning, the sky a soft canvas of shifting clouds. My mother, my aunts, my grandmother, and my great-aunt moved through the landscape with the ease of those who have known it forever. My childhood friends, their laughter a familiar echo, stood beside Nahiki, our model, whose presence carried a timeless elegance. And Edgar, our photographer from Brazil, saw everything with the keen eye of an artist, capturing not just garments but gestures, glances, the poetry of movement.

The sun played hide and seek through the clouds, casting shadows that danced across linen. It was the kind of light that photographers chase—fleeting, golden, wrapping itself around the fabric like a quiet embrace.
